BJP takes out torch rallies to mark year of demonetisation

Rallies were taken out in all districts to mark completion of one year of demonetisation decision taken by Modi Government

BJP activists, led by Revenue Minister Umashankar Gupta, took out torch rally in the State capital on Wednesday. Rallies were also taken out in all districts to mark completion of one year of demonetisation decision taken by Modi Government. A large number of BJP workers and leaders took part in the torch rallies.


In Bhopal, BJP took out torch rally in all 19 “Mandals” of Bhopal. BJP MLAs led the torch rally in various parts of the city. For instance, BJP MLA Surendra Nath Singh led the torch rally taken out from 12 number stop of Arera Colony. BJP spokesman Rahul Kothari, Bhopal Municipal Corporation’s Chairman Surjeet Singh Chouhan, etc. participated in this torch rally.


Likewise, Revenue Minister Umashankar Gupta led the torch rally taken out from Rangmahal area of the city. Hundreds of BJP workers participated in the torch rally. MLA from Berasia, Vishnu Khatri led the torch rally in Berasia area. In other parts of State, elected representatives of BJP took part in torch rallies taken out in their regions. BJP took out torch rallies in all districts of State, including Sehore, Jabalpur, Neemuch, Seoni, Badwani, Chhindwara, Mandla, Dewas, Ratlam, Panna, Jhabua, Sehore, Gwalior, Morena, Ashok Nagar, Singrauli, Ratlam, etc. BJP claimed that, demonetisation decision had hit hard black money and ensured transparency. Demonetisation also helped in moving country towards digital and online payment system.
