Greenashcon 2017 concludes on a successful note

GREENASHCON 2017- the international seminar on ‘Fly Ash Utilisation’ concluded successfully on December 17.
The seminar saw good response from students of various engineering colleges, with more than 300 students visiting every day. Over 150 delegates from Mumbai, Gujarat, Hyderabad, Delhi, Coimbatore participated enthusiastically and presented their paper on various aspects in fly ash utilisation.


Interestingly, Briton Tetrastone, a company from Italy sent a presentation for this conference wherein it made use of fly ash sent from Nagpur. It made Monolayer tiles and slabs with high aesthetic value making use of ash generated here.


Greenashcon 2017 covered technical aspects of the science, applications and sustainability of coal ash utilisation and storage including innovative projects using coal ash, emerging technologies, ash handling, disposal and transport, export potential, international scenario and regulatory framework.


Participants from various backgrounds like cement, infrastructure, brick manufacturing, building industry, researchers, architects, investors and professors from recognised institutes contributed to the success of seminar. Sudhir Paliwal played pivotal role in conducting this seminar.
The management team including Anil Gothi, Deep Meher Dey, Pankaj Dharaskar, Vikas Dekate, Dr Swapnil Wanjarai, Dr Kavita Deshmukh, Dr Abhay Deshmukh, Chhavi Shejwalkar took hard efforts to make the event successful. Greenashcon 2017 was held at Dr Ambedkar Auditorium, Deekshabhoomi, Nagpur jointly by Green Ash Foundation, Fortune Foundation and Yahvii Foundation.
