National Pensioners Welfare Committee felicitates Mukund Muley

THE National Pensioners Welfare Committee recently held a meeting at Sai Dharmashala, Ayodhya Nagar. Govindrao Vairale, Retired General Manager, Maharashtra Cotton Marketing Federation, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Mukund Muley, President of the Committee, Purshottam Kolhadkar, Dr Mahadev Nagrale, President of Dalit Mitra Sanghatana and other leaders were also prominently present on the occasion.


Muley was felicitated on the occasion for his outstanding contribution in the field of labour welfare. He was presented with a shawl, shreefal and a floral bouquet. Speaking on the occasion, Govindrao Vairale said: “I am watching Muley taking up workers’ issues and struggling for giving justice to them from the last 35 years. He also added that Muley was the best example of a real worker dedicated to the cause of the welfare of others, working without any selfish motive or recognition. His contribution towards increasing pension of the retirees under the EPS was remarkable which was beneficial to about 54 lakh pensioners throughout the country.


Purshottam Kolhadkar also noted the works of Muley .
Mukund Muley, while answering to his felicitation said: “I had taken up the call of fighting for my fellow workers right from when I was a worker myself. The satisfaction after getting justice to my co-workers motivated me to work and with the co-operation of all, I am able to work in the field.” Also present on the occasion were Tukaram Dekate, Meeratai Bhat, Shripatrao Mahajan, Dada Zod, Shyam Bodkhe, Jagdish Samatkar, Prakash Gedam, A Lavankar, Ramdas Shlokar and others.
