BJP women’s wing burns Cong leader Rajput’s effigy

Bharatiya Janata Party women’s wing staging demonstration against alleged objectionable remark of Congress former MLA Govind Singh Rajput burnt his effigy at Board Office Square in the state capital on Wednesday.


BJP state secretary and women’s wing state in charge Krishna Gaur addressing on the occasion said that women are respected and worshipped like deities in our country but Congress leaders are doing the work of disregard of the women.


Krishna Gaur said that sensitive state government led by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is doing the work for respect, and self-esteem of the women but Congress leader Govind Singh Rajput remarked against MLA Parul Sahu which is commendable. Krishna Gaur said that it is Congress’ culture to pass objectionable remark forever. She said that Sarla Mishra murder case and Naina Sahni murder case are the example which could not be forgotten.


BJP women wing state president Lata Elkar alleged that Congress leader Govind Rajput’s remark is commendable which shows his anti-women mentality. Elkar said Congress leaders are continuously giving objectionable remarks against women but why the Congress leadership is silent. Elkar said that sit-in was staged at all districts of the state and effigy of Congress leader Rajput was burnt. Former president of morcha Usha Chaturvedi also addressed on the occasion.


BJP district president and MLA Surendranath Singh, state office secretary Satyendra Bhushan Singh, state media in charge Lokendra Parashar, Sanjay Verma, Sarita Deshpandey, Maya Narolia, Tulsa Verma, Asha Sengar, Bhavana Singh, Rita Mishra also condemned the objectionable remark of Congress leader Rajput.
