Goons conspire for out of court settlement,two persons arrested

Ashoka Garden police have booked five persons for hatching a conspiracy against a youth, who refused to withdraw a case against the accused involved in the conspiracy. Police said that the whole conspiracy was aimed to frame Amitesh Rai by the accused Tarun Dubey alias Bunty and four others. The accused Tarun Dubey along with Pradeep Singh (25), Ranjeet Singh (28), Deepak Thakur (32) and Monu Sen (32) to frame Amitesh Rai, who had a fight with Deepak Thakur in the year 2016 and later a complaint was registered and case in pending in court. Deepak made several attempts to force Amitesh to withdraw case but he refused every time.

On Wednesday, according to the plan Tarun was injured using a razor, the bike was damaged and Ranjeet was called to admit him at the hospital which was done at Saubhagya Nagar and later police were informed.

During the investigation police found inconsistency in the statements by the accused and later Ranjeet confessed that the conspiracy was hatched by Deepak and Monu. Based on the confession of the accused the police registered a case under sections 341, 294, 324, 427, 506 and 34 of the IPC and nabbed Ranjeet and Pradeep while Tarun is undergoing treatment. Deepak and Monu went absconding and are still at large.

Meanwhile, Mangalwara police have nabbed a 21-year-old youth and recovered a sharp-edged weapon used to extort money from an auto-rickshaw driver on Wednesday.
The accused identified as Azam Ali of Ashoka Garden tried to extort money from the victim Rajesh Thakur. Victim lodged a complaint with Mangalwara police and later in the investigation accused was nabbed and recovered a sharp-edged weapon. Police registered a case under sections 294, 327, 506 of the IPC.
