Police review security arrangements at hotels ahead of New Year eve

Raipur Police reviewed the security arrangements at hotels, restaurants and other venues of New Year Party on Thursday.
Civil Lines City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Sapan Chowdhury held a meeting with managerial staff of the hotels, restaurants and New Year Party venues.
CSP Chowdhury gave necessary instructions to them regarding the terms and conditions of arrangements for organising the New Year Party.

CSP asked them to obtain the permissions for DJ and take permit for holding the event. Also, they have to assure that no firecrackers will be used and there will be no obscenity.
Any music system outside the venue will be turned off after 10 pm and sound of music system inside the venue shouldn’t go outside. Use of any intoxicating substance such as drugs is strictly out of bounds.

Venue management will also be accountable for arranging parking lots for the guests to make sure that the vehicles don’t obstruct the traffic on roads.
Failing in compliance to anyone of the aforementioned rules will meet with stern legal action, CSP Civil Lines Sapan Chowdhury added.
