Maintaining coordination between Bar and Bench must: CJI to lawyers

Madhya Pradesh Advocates Bar Association and Senior Advocates Council on Saturday accorded grand welcome to Chief Justice of India Justice Dipak Misra during a programme organised in the High Court premises. Speaking on the occasion, CJI Justice Misra extended gratitude for rousing welcome. In his address, he said it is not necessary to get tensed for every difficulty. Most of the problems can be resolved on tea table as well.

He said the Bar and the Bench are two important wheels of justice. He called upon law fraternity to follow the tradition of keeping proper coordination between Bar and Bench. He said it is very important that proper communication be maintained between the Advocates and Judges so as to provide real justice to people of every section of the society. Narrating shlokas of Bhagwat Geeta, CJI Justice Misra asked the Advocates to remain firm on Nyayadharma. He termed the duration he lived and worked in the city as memorable. Justice Misra also met Advocates and old staff members when he was the Judge at the MP High Court.

Those present were Indira Nayar, T S Ruprah, Advocate General, Purushaindra Kaurav, Advocate Sanjay Verma, Manish Datt, S D Khan, President, District Bar Association, R K Singh Saini, Secretary, Manish Mishra, High Court Judges and Advocates.
