MP Equestrian Academy players clinch 23 medals in competition

Competitions of dressage and cross country race were held at Madhya Pradesh State Equestrian Academy on Saturday. Final competitions of horse show and equestrian events will be held on Sunday and the competition will also conclude on the occasion. Madhya Pradesh Equestrian Academy players clinched 23 medals, including 10 gold medals, 10 silver medals and three bronze medals so far.

MP Academy players clinched six gold medals, four silver medals and three bronze medals in individual events. Similarly, they also clinched 40 medals, including 18 gold medals, 13 silver medals and nine bronze medals in Madhya Bharat Equestrian Championship so far. The players clinched 13 gold medals, eight silver medals and seven bronze medals in individual events and five gold medals, five silver medals and two bronze medals in team event.

Jury members and Equestrian Federation of India’s executives, who played role of referee in Junior National Equestrian Championship and Madhya Bharat Equestrian Championship, were felicitated by Sports and Youth Welfare Director Upendra Jain. Upendra Jain felicitated EFI Vice President Brigadier Gyanpuri, Secretary General Colonel S K Svine, Colonel S S Ehlawat, Colonel H R Sunil, Colonel Rajiv Dahiya, Colonel S P Anantrao, Lieutenant Colonel D P Nanda, Dr K S Tomar, Major Harmanjeet Singh, Captain Gulab Singh and Subedar Major Sunil Kumar presenting them bouquet and memento.

Sports Joint Director Dr Vinod Pradhan, B S Yadav and other officers were present on the occasion. Final competitions of 2 km cross country race will be held which will be centre of attraction on December 31.
