71st All India Home Guards & Civil Security Establishment Day celebrated

THE 71st All India Home Guards and Civil Security Establishment Day was celebrated in a graceful manner at District Commandant Home Guard Jabalpur, Darikhana, on Wednesday. Chief guest on the occasion was Mayor Dr Swati Godbole, while Vishad Tiwari, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Home Guard, presided over the programme.


The programme was inaugurated with an attractive march past led by Parade Commander Shalivahan Pandey, Company Commander, State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF), Parade To IC, Archana, Platoon Commander, Animesh Rajput, Platoon Commander, Pushpendra Ahirwar, Platoon Commander, Meena Singh Nayak, Ramgopal Dubey, temporary Platoon Commander, Sonelal, Havildar Instructor and Sunil Garg from Civil Defence Jabalpur were present. Vishad Tiwari, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Home Guard read out the message of Foundation Day, while Divisional Commandant Jabalpur Rohitash Pathak presented the annual report.


Addressing the programme, Mayor Dr Swati Godbole congratulated officers and employees of Home Guard and Civil Defence Department on the occasion of 71st Foundation Day.
Mayor Dr Swati Godbole applauded efforts of Home Guard and Civil Defence personnel for their valuable contribution in saving lives and rescuing residents at the time of calamity.


On the occasion, Ashish Khare, Commandant, Central Training Institute, Jabalpur, R K Pathrol, Junior Staff Officer Headquarters, Home Guard, Lalit Kumar Udde, District Commandant Dindori, Rajendra Singh Baghel, JSO Home Guard, G P Pandre, District Commandant Home Guard Balaghat, A K Pastore, MTO Headquarters Home Guard, K K Dabral, Company Commander Home Guard Jabalpur, Sunil Garg, Divisional Warden, E R Land Christopher, Ashok Mishra, Pradeep Patel, Roop Singh Thakur and Divisional Office, District and Home Guard Headquarters and CTI Jabalpur’s officers and personnel were specially present.


Guests visited an exhibition of safety equipment used for rescue operation at the time of any calamity or accident.
During the programme, State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF) and Home Guard personnel demonstrated rescue operation at the time of accident. Dr Girish Maral convened the programme. Neeraj Singh Thakur, District Commandant, Home Guard, Jabalpur, proposed a vote of thanks towards guests, senior officers and personnel for their valuable contribution in making the programme a grand success.
