Rich tributes paid to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar

Various social, cultural, religious, political organisations, Government establishments, Central and State Government Offices and Non-Government organisations paid rich tributes to architect of Indian constitution, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on Mahaparinirvan Divas on Wednesday.

Central Railway Nagpur Division


A programme to pay tributes to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar was held at Gunjan Sabhagruha of Central Railway’s Nagpur Division. Divisional Railway Manager Brijesh Kumar Gupta presided over. Additional Divisional Railway Manager Trilok Kothari, Divisional Personnel Officer Abhishekh Paswan were also present. Divisional Secretary of All India SC/ST Railway Employees Association Nikesh Ukey, representative of Central Rail Mazdoor Union Siddharth Dhoke, representative of National Railway Mazdoor Union, Rahul Gajbhiye also spoke on this occasion.

South East Central Railway, Nagpur Division


A programme to pay tributes to Dr Ambedkar was held at its office. Divisional Railway Manager, Amit Kumar Agrawal paid tributes to Dr Ambedkar. Senior Personnel Officer,
R Ganesh; M S Khobragade, President of SECR SC/ST Union and other officers were also present.

Vidhan Bhavan


MLC Nago Ganar, MLA Dr Milind Mane paid tributes to Dr Ambedkar at the premises of assembly. Uttamsingh Chavan, Secretary of Maharashtra Legislature Secretariat; Director of Information and Publicity, Radhakrishna Muli; District Information Officer, Anil Gadekar; Additional Secretary Sunil Zore; N R Thite, Ravindra Jagdale, Subhash Nalawade, Vijay Komatwar, Rangnath Khaire, J B Rana, Baba Waghmare and others were also present.

Accountant General Office


A Blood donation camp was conducted at the office of AG (A&E) on Tuesday. The camp was inaugurated by Dinesh Patil, IAAS, Accountant General. A team of experts from Government Medical College consisting of Dr Sanjay Parate, Director, Blood Bank, GMC; Super Speciality Hospital, Nagpur, Dr Nitin Shende, Lecturer, Department of Pathology, GMC, Nagpur, and Dr Kiran Uikey, Blood Transfusion Officer, GMC, collected blood. The programme was arranged by the Recreation Club of the office with the assistance of Welfare wing. S S Kalpande, Sr Dy Accountant General (Admn), Y S Tadvi, Sr Dy Accountant General (Accounts; VLC), Beju Joseph, Dy Accountant General (Entitlement), Ashok Chanore, Welfare Office, Pramod Challirwar, President, Recreation Club and many officers and staff members were present on the occasion. Aparna Shitole, Secretary, Recreation Club compered the programme. A carved Preamble of Indian Constitution was also unveiled by Dinesh Patil at the office entrance.

NMC


Acting Mayor Deepraj Pardikar and Chairman of Standing Committee, Sandeep Jadhav garlanded the statue of Dr Ambedkar at Samvidhan Chowk and paid tributes to him. Leader of opposition, Tanaji Wanve, Chairman of Civil Committee, Sanjay Bangale, corporators Kishore Jichkar, Sunil Hiranwar, Narendra Walde were also present. Deepraj Pardikar also garlanded the oil paintings of Dr Ambedar at NMC’s Central Office. Additional Commissioner Ravindra Kumbhare and many others were also present.

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samiti


Bhadant Arya Nagarjun Surai Sasai along with 30 bhante, General Secretary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Smarak Samiti, Sadanand Fulzele; Sudhir Fulzele N.R Sute, Anand Fulzele, Vilas Gajghate, and many others paid tributes to Dr Ambedkar at the premises of Deekshabhoomi.

Regional Director of MSEDCL Bharchandra Khandait garlanded the portrait of Dr Ambedkar and paid tributes to him. Superintending Engineer, Rakesh Janbandhu, Mansh Wath, Narayan Amzare, Samrat Waghmare, Bandu Wasnik, Assistant General Manager (Human Resources) Vaibhav Thorat, Executive Engineer Deepali Madelwar, Deputy Chief Industrial Relations Officer, Madhusudan Marathe and many others were also present.
