‘CA students need to pursue articleship as journey towards professionalism’

Nagpur Branch of WICASA successfully organised a seminar for the benefit of CA students on articleship journey towards professionalism. It was aimed at enabling the student fraternity to understand the importance of articleship. CA Swapnil Ghate, Chairman of Nagpur Branch of WIRC, inaugurated the seminar by lighting the lamp.
CA Kirit Kalyani, Chairman of Nagpur Branch of WICASA, in his introductory remarks welcomed the dignitaries and the large number of CA students to the first successful event by the team WICASA 2017.
He thanked the guiding faculties and speakers of the seminar, CA Satish Sarda and CA Nitin Alshi for giving consent to spare their valuable time to share their rich treasure of knowledge with the students.
He also announced to carry unique feature of WICASA programmes of giving special ‘Certificate of Appreciation’, to the students who remain present in the seminar and reply the questions at the end of seminar.
CA Swapnil Ghate, Chairman of Nagpur Branch of WIRC, shared his student life memories. He happily recalled and shared his experiences of articleship days. He urged in his unique style to give due importance to the articleship learning.
CA Satish Sarda effectively conveyed the meaning and importance of articleship with a very powerpoint presentation. He made it clear to avoid choosing ineffective articleship as it can ruin golden learning years, reserved by the institute for valuable practical learning. Pointing out at the qualities such as dedication, punctuality, responsibility, team efforts, etc., he explained what qualities a student should possess during their articleship.
CA Nitin Alshi told the importance of application of what they have learned in practical situations. He said, one should join a firm which promises major responsibilities in the desired field in which a student plans to work post qualification.
Nagpur Branch of WICASA also feted toppers of CA final and CA IPCC exam. They include CA Ankit Agrawal (AIR 24), Gaurav Chandak (AIR 23), Dhruv Daga (AIR 40) and Garima Chhawchharia (AIR 45). The inspiring toppers shared their study plan and guided students. They gave important tips.
Priya Ajmani and Aditya Agrawal were acknowledged as star students of the seminar.
WICASA co-ordinators Devashish Mahadule and Sonali Raut jointly co-ordinated the seminar. Nazia Haq, Pulkit Jhawar and Gurbani Kaur Bhasin co-ordinaed on various topics. Pooja Zade co-ordinator of WICASA gave vote of thanks.
