GFG to hold Rifle Shooting C’ship on International Women’s Day

LIKE every year, to mark International Women’s Day and to develop self-confidence amongst women, to promote women empowerment, a Rifle Shooting Competition would be organised by Gun For Glory Shooting Academy, Napier Town on International Women’s Day on March 8. Competition would commence at 10 am and would conclude at 6 pm.
It may be mentioned that as a symbol of women empowerment Asian Championship winner Mahima Turhi Agarwal, Pistol Shooter, representative of India at International-level disabled Pistol Shooter Rubina Francis and National-level Rifle Shooter Shreya Agarwal have raised the name of the State high adding feather of glory in the name of city and their families.
“This competition would be a good chance for those women who never handled rifles in their lives and through this competition they would get to learn how to use rifles and it would be fun shooting times for the ladies,” said Prashant Jain, Director of GFG.
The winner ladies of the competition would be given awards for their performances.
It is also mentioned that over 180 women participated in such camp organised last year.
