‘Cancer can grab woman of any age group’

A CANCER awareness camp was organised at Shri Mahila Lijjat Papad Udyog on Wednesday. The camp was organised under joint auspices of Jabalpur Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society on the occasion of Women’s Day.
Dean of Government Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital Dr Rooplekha Chouhan and FOGSI Vice-President, West Zone Dr Swati Dhorepatil were special guest of the programme.
Women Cancer Specialist Dr Kavita N Singh informed about primary symptoms of breast cancer, cervical cancer and other cancers common among women. She advised women to go for consultation if any of this primary symptoms exists.
Dr Sangeeta Shrivastava said cancer can grab women of any age group. A women should go for regular check-up so that treatment can be started at an early stage and patients are cured completely.
Dr Alka Agrawal, Dr Kusum Solanki and Dr Kusum Jain informed on how a balanced diet plays an important role in living a healthy life, while Dr Neena Shrivastava defining the meaning of good health said leading a healthy life mentally and physically should be first priority of a person.
Dr Dipti Gupta, Dr Swati Patel and Dr Namita Tiwari informed about various medical check-up cum treatment camp organised at Shri Mahila Lijjat Papad Udyog. JOGS President Dr Chitra Jain ensured to give services to the organisation committed to provide employment to women’s Director Lijjat Papad Udyog Pushpa Berry and Geeta Sharat Tiwari, Sarla Dhar of Rotary Club of Jabalpur extended their support to make the programme successful.
