M&M exports 42 tractors to Nigeria from ICD, Nagpur

India’s largest tractor manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra having its plant at Hingna, MIDC, for the first time has opted rail route for dispatch of their tractor export in container through CONCOR, ICD, Nagpur.
The export train was flagged off by Anup Kumar Satpathy, Chief General Manager of Central Region of CONCOR, Nagpur and Ashutosh Tripathi, Plant Head of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd at 5 pm on Thursday. The tractors are exported to Nigeria.
The export bound train will reach JNPT, Mumbai on Sunday morning. From JNPT, it will go to Nigeria via sea route.
There are seven containers of 40 feet, one container has six tractors. The export train will reach Mumbai on Sunday morning.
Prominently present were Mangesh Lanjewar, Chief Manager of CONCOR, Arvind Kumar, Deputy Manager of CONCOR, Pradeep Shah of ATC Global Logistics Private Limited, service provider to Mahindra and Mahindra.
Shashikant Jadhav, Senior Manager of Mahindra, Arun Deshpande, Deputy General Manager of Excise Mahindra. Amar Wazalwar, of SARATHI, Vipin Kamdar, indusrtrialists and others were present.
