Over 72 pregnant women examined at Ghamapur urban health centre

OVER 72 pregnant women were examined at Government Urban Health Care Centre, Ghamapur, on Thursday, under Government Ambitious programme of providing free health check-up of pregnant women under Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA) - popularly referred as ‘I pledge for 9’. Free health check-up camp was organised under direction of Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr Murli Agrawal and DHOs Dr Pradeep Agrawal and Dr Nagariya. After primary body investigation like measurement of body weight, blood pressure, haemoglobin, urea creatinine, gynaecologists, Dr Amita Saxena and PHNO, Indira Jacob conducted medical examination of pregnant women and gave them necessary consultation.
Thirty calcium and iron tablets were distributed among pregnant women after medical examination. Jitendra Sonkar, Pradeep Goswami, Satya Prakash, Jitendra Singh, Ajay Gontiya, Milka Jacob and other health workers extended their support to make the programme successful.
