Fogging machine dedicated to BSP township

GM (Town Services) Alok Jha on Friday dedicated the new Fogging Machine to BSP Township in the august presence DGMs S K Jain, Mohan Deshpandey and Subrat Prahraj along with Dr. G K Dubey, Dr. N K Jain, A K Pandey, along with number of executives and employees from Town Services and Public Health Departments (PHD) of BSP.
Apart from them, the representatives from UPL - the company which supplied fogging machine, D V N, Murty, Abhijeet Sawant, and M Bhaskar were also present, who specifically arrived from Mumbai.


On the same occasion the employees from PHD were apprised extensively about the functioning of this machine and the necessary training was also imparted to them.
It may be mentioned that this is the first fogging machine in Central India, and second in the whole country, which conducts fogging operations while using water, and which is being considered as the most environment-friendly fogging machine. This machine would help in curtailing the menace of mosquitoes in BSP Township.


This machine, capable of fogging while using water has been supplied to BSP by Leco Company from USA with the collaboration of UPL Limited.
The total weight of this machine is 316 Kg and it is being operated by using 16 HP patrol engine. The tank of this machine is of 56 liters, flush tank of 3.8 liters and patrol tank is of 40 liter capacity. 65 liters of insecticide mixed in water can be sprayed by machine by using only 5 liters of patrol.


With the use of this new machine the smoke emission will also be curtailed. While the machine, being used in the past, was almost consuming 200 liters diesel, 20 liters of patrol and 10 litres of insecticide.
