Collector reviews ongoing Lok Suraj Abhiyan

Collector R Shangeetha reviewed in Time Limit Meeting (TL) progress of disposal of applications received during first phase of Lok Suraj Abhiyan (LSA).She emphatically assured qualitative solution of every complaint.She asked Nodal Officers for extensive tours of villages for meaningful solution of applications. Discussion with the applicant would provide correct information and pave way for quick solution.


She instructed officers to complete tour in a week and submit report in next TL meeting scheduled on March 21. Nodal officers will be accompanied by Nodal officers of Gram Panchayat during tour. She specifically instructed to solve the complaints with sensitivity and seriousness. Shangeetha made it clear that demand and complaint are separate subjects. Hence sorting of applications should be done carefully.


She instructed senior officers to complete the task under their supervision and mutual coordination. Small and local problems can be solved at Panchayat level. Officers were instructed for proclamation by Kotwar a day prior to visit. She pointed out that 80% applications are related to demands and the solution would require budget.


Shangeetha took information regarding preparations for “Samadhan Shivir”. 33 such Shivir will be organised in villages during the Abhiyan.In Samadhan Shivir information about solution of the complaints will be provided to applicants and they will be benefitted by several welfare schemes of State Government.


The Collector instructed for publicity of Shivir through wall writing. Aadhar Card of left out persons will also be prepared in the camp. Anganbadi children will be benefitted by Bal Sandarbh Yojna.


Children will be examined by IMA doctors. Bank officers will also be present in the camp. Registration of labourers will be done.
Benefits of Pradhanmantri Mudra Yojna and other banking related schemes will be provided. Model of house to be constructed under Pradhanmantri Grameen Awas Yojna will
be displayed.
