Fisheries College students bring laurels in National Conference

Students of Fisheries College Kawardha under Chhattisgarh Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya brought laurels to the University in particular and Chhattisgarh in general. 16 students participated in 2nd National Fisheries Students Confluence held at Central Fisheries Education Institute, Mumbai last day.
These students stood first in cultural competitions. Dean Dr HK Baradiya told the conference highlighted academic excellence innovation in higher education of Fisheries.
9 girls and 6 boys of the College participated in the Conference. Renuka Uike, Sweeti Singh, Harshita Sahu, Amit Sahu, Priya Dube, Rounaq Ara Siddiqui, Madhulika and Rahul Kumar’s creative model on academic excellence in education of Fisheries was highly appreciated and awarded first prize. Chhattisgarhi folk dance performance left indelible impression on the audience.
In National Essay Writing Competition first year student Saurabh Maurya was adjudged third.
Dean Dr Baridya congratulated the team for remarkable achievements. Assistant Professor Jitendra Jakhad was team manager. Assistant Professor Dr. Niranjan Sarang, Culture In-charge strived hard to shape the students. Chhattisgarh was acclaimed on national level. Vice Chancellor Professor Umesh Kumar Mishra expressed pleasure over achievements of the students and wished for their bright future.
He also congratulated the Dean and the staff of the College.
