Light rainfall drenches some parts of Hoshangabad

Light showers drenched some parts of Hoshangabad in last twenty four hours. Remaining parts of state remained dry. Day temperature increased particularly in districts of Sagar divisions. Maximum temperatures of Jabalpur, Hoshangabad, Ujjain and Chambal divisions remained unchanged.

Highest maximum temperature of 37 degree Celsius was recorded in Dhar and Khargone respectively. Minimum temperatures increased substantially in Rewa and Shahdol divisions. They remained below normal level in Sagar, Hoshangabad, Indore and Ujjain divisions. The lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius was recorded in Naugaon, Damoh, Betul and Ujjain respectively.

Weather department forecasted dust storm along with lightening activities in isolated parts of Sagar, Shahdol, Indore, Ujjain and Hoshangabad divisions and Gwalior, Datia, Rajgarh, Sidhi and Singhrauli districts.

On Friday, Bhopal witnessed sultry weather condition. Its minimum temperature shot up to 15.4 degree Celsius, 3 degree above normal mark. Now everywhere in state, maximum and minimum temperatures are either at normal or above normal mark. Heat has now started to pinch the people.

As temperatures are now on soaring path, people have started to use fans and air conditioners to find relief from heat. The overall forecast of weather department says that temperatures of western Madhya Pradesh will increase in partial manner.

In coming days, temperatures are going to increase further to give harrowing time to people. Full fledged summer is likely to start from next month. Now, mild cold that was felt for some days has disappeared with rise in temperatures. Couple of days back, one or two parts of state including Rewa remained in grip of severe cold due to cold wave.
