‘State Govt to extend all help to co-op societies’

“State Government is committed to extend role in cooperative movement so that it becomes a public movement,” said chief guest Panchayat and Rural Development Minister of State(Independent Charge), Vishwas Sarang, while addressing symposium on Farmer Cooperative movement at Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya.
State Government is committed to give support to cooperative movement, and produce new jobs in the field of cooperatives. Citing an example of joint family, he said joint family is real example of Cooperative, where each member of family executes his own responsibility and burden on family members becomes equally distributed. ICH is one of such family, where each member equally participates and profit is distributed among them.
Farmers can become wealthy by extending their participation through cooperative. We are now planning to open fair price shop through Awas Sangh. Skill Development programme would be started with cooperative societies. Along with this, State Government is planning to open mini mall in rural areas through cooperative societies. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has played important role in turning cooperative societies into a public movement.
Presiding over the programme, MLA Sushil Tiwari Indu informed that Minister has distributed e-rickshaw. Operation of e-rickshaw would help in managing the traffic system of city. He also thanked the involvement of officials in promoting e-rickshaw.
Mayor Dr Swati Godbole said the Union and State Government is working on the base of cooperation, that will definitely give new dimension to country.
