He explained the logic for advancement of date of Budget by one month so that Budget gets passed earlier and the provisions are understood properly.
He urged students that don’t aim for only passing exams; learn to review, interpret and implement. With his own experience he said, “To pass exams luck required is only 25 per cent balance 75 per cent is pure hard work. Concentrate on ethical practice and display a sense of responsibility as students are the pillars of nation’s growth.”
Earlier, CA Sandeep Jotwani, Chairman of Nagpur Branch of ICAI in his remarks mentioned that students should be aware of the latest development and with various new laws in force.

CA Saket Bagdia, Chairman of Nagpur Branch of WICASA, expressed that Finance Bill’ 2017 would bring in more clarity in tax concepts as well as asking for increased compliance; and GST now set to come from July 1, team WICASA 2017 thought it apt to hold a seminar with expert faculties to deliberate on the topics.
While deliberating on changes in Finance Bill with respect to direct taxes, CA Naresh Jakhotia lucidly explained the various changes linking it with justifications for the same.
CA Varun Vijaywargi explained that though no major changes were brought in indirect taxes but a base was definitely made for smooth implementation of GST from July 1, 2017.
