Minister Singh lays stone for 3 road works in Sagar distt

Home and Transport Minister Bhupendra Singh performed bhoomipujan of three road construction works in Rajwaans and Barodiya Kalan.
The road between Rajwaans-Khurai would be 31.85 km long and would cost Rs 59.80 crore. Minister Singh also performed bhumi pujan of Barodiya-dhamoni road to be built with cost of Rs 51.43 crore and Nanuniya-Madanpur road to be built with cost of Rs 5 crore. Speaking on the occasion Minister said that in last three years many road projects were approved and it would lead to development of the area. Road projects worth Rs 500 crores have been approved.


Home and Transport Minister Singh informed that when the BJP came to power then Beena River Project was accelerated and now this project would bring 212 villages of Khurai under irrigation cover and in 70,000 hectare land would be irrigated, ground water level would rise and drinking water problem would also be resolved.


He informed that on the occasion of ‘Akshay tritiya festival, grand mass marriage function has been organizsed under Mukhya Mantri Kanyadaan Yojna. On April 25, statue of Rani Awanti Bai would be unveiled and the Bus Stand is being developed at Bandri would be named after Rani Awanti Bai.
