Paraswada cops nab absconding theft accused from native village

CRACKING the whip against absconding warrantees, Paraswada cops arrested a history sheeter accused under section 379, 411 and 25, 27 of the Arms Act. The absconding goon was nabbed from his native village and was visiting his home on the occasion of Holi festival. He was arrested near the bus stand campus in possession of a country made revolver and sharp-edged weapon.


Shivkumar Tarachandra Uikey, resident from village Suswasayki Tola of Kirnapur police station. was registered under section 379, 411 in view of theft incident reported to have taken place in year 2009 in which the he had stolen water pump, pump trolley and other goods. Soon after the case was registered cops carried out search operation to apprehend the absconding accused but he remained at large. On Saturday late evening, one of the informer deployed by the police gave tip about the presence of the absconding in his native village. Police reached the native village and arrested the accused near Paraswada bus stand in possession of a country made revolver and one sharp-edged weapon.


The goon was found wandering near bus stand campus and was about to board some bus to move from the region. Seeing the approaching police, he tried to flee but was arrested. Police carried out search and recovered one country made revolver and one sharp edged weapon.


Brought to police station was framed under section 25,27 Arms has been put behind bars. SHO Ajay Markarm informed that the absconding accused had shifted to Hyderabad and had visited his native village on the occasion of Holi.


The police team comprised Amar Parihar, Rajendra Gautam, Son Singh, Hariom Kashyap, Pramod Bhalwi and other offered valuable support in apprehending the absconding accused.
The absconding after being nabbed in course of interrogation confessed had managed to reach Hyderabad after being held accused in the theft case.
