‘Vijay Park’ resembles the victory of Minister Pandey it was to be inaugurated on December 9 last year but it was not completed due to demonetisation

Cabinet Minister, Prem Prakash Pandey on Sunday dedicated ‘Vijay Park’ and two E-Rickshaws to the public in a specially organised function here at Targhar ground Sector-1 Bhilai. BMC Speaker, Shyam Sunder Rao, Senior Corporator, Vashisth Narayan Mishra, Corporator, P Shrinivas Rao, A Shrinivas Rao, Rinku Sahu, Rashmi Singh, Kuleshwar Prasad Sahu, Shiv Prasad, Chotelal Choudhary, Munna Pandey and others were also represent on the occasion.


Addressing the dedication ceremony Minister Pandey said that Bhilai Township is 60 years old. When the quarters were made the sewerage pipe and drinking water pipeline were installed together behind the quarters. These pipelines have become dilapidated whenever the drinking water pipeline gets damaged the sewerage water mixes with it and we get contaminated water. He informed that a massive scheme will soon began where the drinking water pipeline and sewerage water pipeline will be separated and drinking water pipeline will be installed before the quarter and sewerage water pipeline will be installed behind the quarters. We have held meeting with BSP regarding this but as the project is big but it would take some time to start the project. He then cut the ribbon and dedicated the ‘Vijay Park’ for public.


Senior Corporator, Vashisth Narayan Mishra in his address said that ‘Vijay Park’ resembles the victory of Minister Pandey it was to be inaugurated on December 9 last year but it was not complete and also at this time the demonetisation was declared so the park has both the memories. The two E-Rickshaw donated by Vashisth Narayan Mishra from his corporator fund will be used for maintaining cleanliness.
