NTPC, Mouda tests 2nd unit of 660 MW with full capacity

NTPC Ltd’s Mouda Super Thermal Power Project second unit of 660 MW was tested working on its full capacity. On the occasion Subhashish Ghosh, Regional Executive Director Western Region-I congratulated Anup Kumar Nanda, Group General Manager and team of NTPC Mouda.
On January 31 midnight, Gurdeep Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NTPC had announced the commercial production of the second phase first unit of 660 MW. Second phase unit total testing and all parameters are completed.
After completing all parameters testing of its working to its full capacity had been done successfully. Now, NTPC Mouda Super Thermal Power Project is working on its full capacity of 2320 MW, in which production of 1660 MW is for commercial use. With the completion of NTPC Mouda, NTPC in the country has increased its production capacity to 50,000 MW. NTPC apart from producing electricity also takes care of corporate social responsibilities. NTPC is also focused on ‘Zero Accidents’ and it has developed international standards pollution control to maintain the balance of pollution. For making the completion of working of NTPC Mouda to its full capacity in its stipulated time, NTPC CMD and all directors, Regional Executive Director had given their valuable guidance from time to time.
