5 men involved in 7 loot incidents held, booty seized

CONTINUING a rigorous campaign against anti-social campaign, police succeeded in apprehending five accused involved in seven loot incidents and a goldsmith for purchasing stolen jewellery. Police have recovered two motorcycles, four gold beats, four gold chains and a locket from accused.
The accused have been identified as Deepak (35), son of Bishan Lal, resident of Bhongadwar, Gorabazar, Krishna Gurun (27), son of Dumble Gurum of Gohalpur, Suraj Dumar (18), son of Jawahar Dumar, resident of near Prem Sagar Chowki, Ajay Patel (20), son of Rajkumar Patel of Bhedaghat, Akash Raikwar (22), son of Maddu Raikwar, resident of Adhartal and owner of jewellery store, Shubham Gupta (30), son of Mahesh Gupta, resident of Ghamapur.
Superintendent of Police Dr Mahendra Singh Sikarwar informed this while addressing a press conference on Sunday.
During a special campaign, police received information about some suspected men involved in several loot and theft incidents. Taking prompt action on the information, Superintendent of Police Dr M S Sikarwar constituted a police team under supervision of Additional SP (North), Suraj Kumar Verma and Additional SP(Crime), Devendra Pratap Singh Rajput led by CSP, Bargi, Manjit Singh Chawala and CSP, Gorakhpur, Anjulata Patle. Police team started a search and detained five suspected men who disclosed seven loots and a vehicle-lifting incident. Police took remand of accused for further investigation in pending loot, theft and other crime incidents.
The accused were apprehended with active working of police team comprised of SHO, Gorakhpur, Indramani Patel, SHO, Bhedaghat, M D Nagotia, SI, Nirupa Pandey, PSI, Anuradha Lodhi, ASI, Ashok Dubey, Lekhram Nadonia, Pancham Singh, Shivkumar Patel, Head Constable, Pramod Pandey, Constables, Jaikishan, Mahendra, Sripal, Virendra, Virendra Dohale, Baldeo Vishwakarma, Sunil Patel, Purushottam and Cyber Cell team. On the achievement, SP Dr Mahendra Singh Sikarwar has declared cash reward for members of police team.
