Block-level beneficiaries’ convention at Saunsar

With an aim for development and to spread awareness among people about various schemes of the government, a block-level Antyoday Mela was organised here on Saturday at Janpad Panchayat campus, Saunsar. People in large number and the beneficiaries participated in the mela enthusiastically.

In the inaugural programme, CEO Janpad Panchayat Vinod Maravi said that stalls of 25 different departments have been installed in the mela to provide the benefits of the schemes of the government and an amount of Rs 50 crore has been distributed till date to the beneficiaires. He added that the administration was working day and night to serve the people.

Collector J K Jain, while addressing the gathering, said that the standard of needy, poor and weaker section of the society would be developed and improved with the help of the Antyoday Mela and benefits of schemes implemented would be given to everyone. He added that the government is working to develop and clean the state and district and various departments are working to achieve cleanliness and developmental goals. He also informed about various schemes of the government and appreciated the organization of the mela.

District President of BJP, Raju Parmar said that in last 13 years our state has tremendously developed and the Chief Minister is working for the benefits of the people by various schemes and added hitgrahi’s should be beware of middleman and must fight for their rights.During the Antyoday Mela, MLA Nana Mohod, President of Janpad Panchayat Pallavi Bhute, Municipality President Nanda Bhange, Raju Rathi and Santosh Jain inspected the details about the schemes and hitgrahi’s in various departmental stalls. He said that the government is helping the needy by various departments and officials. The government is also working to provide proper drinking water, road, health, education and employment facility along with good and clean environment. Collector, J K Jain and the guests awarded the presentation of various departments. Anita Rai and Nisha Puriya of Women and Child Welfare Department were given the first prize, Subhash Dohare and Dr. Abdul Kalim of Pushp Health Department were given second prize. Janpad Panchayat Saunsar Vinod Maravi, Ghanshyam Dehriya, Sande Kori, Ashok Farkase were given third prize and CMO Sausar Sheikh Akhtar, Avinash Basod were given fourth prize.Later in the mela 15 patients were given spectacles free of cost by the Health Department, 36 gas connections were distributed under the Ujawala Scheme and cheques for 18 ‘Patte’ of Forest Right Act, Indra Awas Scheme and Ladali Laxmi Yojana were distributed. During the Block Panchayat Officer Mareshwar Marskole, Dr. Gulabrai Pandey, Ghanshyam Dehriya, Motiram Thakre, Kamlesh Dharmik, Saroj Asatkar and many others were present during the mela.
