CM honours scientist Kunhikrishnan with Vigyan Pratibha Samman

CM Chouhan greeting Kunhikrishnan, said that the entire country feels proud pride of the feat achieved in the leadership of Kunhikrishnan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan honoured Director and Scientist of Satish Dhavan Space Center, Sriharikota P Kunhikrishnan with 2nd Vigyan Pratibha Samman on Monday. It may be mentioned that this award is being given by MP Council of Science and Technology and Vigyan Bharti since 2016.


CM Chouhan greeting Kunhikrishnan, said that the entire country feel pride of the feat achieved in the leadership of Kunhikrishnan. Science and spiritualism is one, if pried deeply. He informed that Vaicharik Kumbh was organised in the State before the Simhastha and contemplations were made on science and spiritualism. Referring to the contribution of Adi Shankracharya in cultural unity of India, Chouhan mentioned that Vedanta Institute is being established in Omkareshwar based on the life and philosophy of Adi Shankracharya. He also informed about the world’s biggest river conservation people’s movement ‘Narmada Seva Yatra’.


Scientist Unhikrishnan appreciated the simplicity and cordiality of Chief Minister Chouhan. He also invited Chouhan to attend the launching of Chandrayan 2018 expedition. It is to be highlighted that Kunhikrishnan is the Mission Director ISRO which has set a world record by launching 104 satellites together. Director General MP Council of Science and Technology
