Actor Sanjay Dutt says he shares a beautiful relationship with his three children - Trishala, Iqra and Shahraan.

The actor will be making his comeback on the silver screen after three years with the National Award-winning director Omung Kumar’s Bhoomi, which revolves around a father- daughter relationship.

How is his relationship with his children?
“I share a very beautiful relationship with them. But I am not their friend, I am their father,” Sanjay replied to the question asked by IANS here.
“My father (late actor Sunil Dutt) used to say to me this and I also follow that in my life with my kids,” he added.
The 57-year-old actor was arrested for illegal possession of arms in a case related to the 1993 serial blasts, in which over 250 people were killed and several hundred wounded. He was released from the Yerawada Central Jail last year.

He has seen many ups and downs in his life, but actor Sanjay Dutt has generally conducted himself well and he gives all the credit to his late star parents Nargis and Sunil Dutt.
The 57-year-old actor says it's very important to be a good human being first.
"My parents taught me to be a good person and respect all. No matter how big a person becomes, that person should be grounded," said Sanjay, who has mostly been a favourite of his audience.

Sanjay says he is not a traitor and has been given a clean chit from the court.
"I would like to clear that the court has rejected the tag of traitor from me...I have got out of the case with a clean chit and only been convicted in the Arms Act," he said.

Sanjay Dutt also says his daughter Trishala had acting dreams but he always wanted her to make a career in forensic science.
The 57-year-old actor says he has invested a lot of time and energy in her daughter’s education and does not want her to join Bollywood.

“I’ve invested a lot of time and energy to put her in a good college and she has done very well. She has specialised in forensic science... And I think that’s the great thing to do,” Dutt told reporters here.
The actor, who is currently shooting for his comeback film “Bhoomi” in the city, says becoming an actor is not easy and for Trishala it is going to be tougher as she has to work on her Hindi.

“Even if she wants to join the industry, she has to learn Hindi because American (English) will not work here. It is not easy to be an actor. It looks easy but it is quite difficult.”
Directed by Omung Kumar
Bhoomi is Dutt’s first project after he completed his jail term. The revenge drama revolves around the relationship between a father and daughter, played by Aditi Rao Hydari.
