In order to have good knowledge of marketing to the women crafts workers, Sant Ravidas Madhya Pradesh Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation organised two-day workshop for about 50 women crafts workers. It might be in view of International Women
day. It was a local level marketing workshop. Some senior officers of the corporation and those are experts in marketing.
There was discussion over the cloth designing, producing it before the customers, in what crafts fields there is more scope. They were made aware of the different crafts fairs organised by the other states’ Government handicrafts and handloom development corporations. The topics that were discussed in the workshop were as Registration, Insurance, exhibitions, international designing, participation in it and how to sell the crafts, how to make it so attractive. What is finishing in all crafts .

However, the crafts women workers who had many times participated in crafts fairs were taught about Buyer-Seller meet. Handicrafts and handloom development corporation officers know that most crafts persons do not know about marketing and it is the reason why they cannot do good sale in crafts fairs despite their good quality crafts. The workshop participants were told about many schemes launched by the Government of India for the welfare of crafts persons and women crafts workers.
Rajendra Singh Kushwaha, wood craft expert, who is national award recipient, said they have made their identity in field of wood crafts at the national level through hard working. Any craft needs more practice and its Moreover, senior officers of the handicrafts and handloom corporation, Lead Bank, district industry general manager, senior designer of the corporation as S M Naseer, Sanjay Pathak, Shobha Bakoria, N P Mahor, Sudhir Vyas and Siddhiqui Ahmad.
