Many parts of State reel under heat wave

Heat wave was experienced in many places of Rewa, Gwalior and Sagar divisions. In the meantime, many places of Shahdol, Bhopal, Ujjain, Gwalior and Chambal divisions and Jabalpur and Tikamgarh district experienced warm nights.


Blazing sun put cauldron of temperatures on fire. Maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius was recorded at many places in State. Searing heat adversely affected normal life. By afternoon, heat reaches to its optimum level. Bhopal recorded maximum temperature of 41.3 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature of Jabalpur was 40.8 degrees Celsius.


Weather Department issued warning of heat wave in isolated parts of Rewa, Sagar and Gwalior divisions. Severe heat wave is likely in some places of Gwalior and Shivpuri districts. Dust storm is likely in sundry parts of Sidhi, Singhrauli, Anuppur, Dindori, Mandla and Balaghat district.
Warm nights are expected in sundry parts of Bhopal division and Shahdol, Jabalpur, Tikamgarh, Shajapur, Ujjain, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Sheopur districts.


The good thing is this that partial fall is likely in temperatures during next two days. However, marginal decline in temperatures is not going to provide any kind of relief from heat as temperatures are two to three degree above normal mark. Hence, even if mercury level falls partially, then also temperatures will be above normal mark.
The local forecast for Bhopal says that weather would be clear and maximum temperature will be 42 degrees Celsius.
Duststorm is likely during noon hours.As the searing heat continues, people are falling sick to seasonal diseases. People having complaint of giddiness, vomiting, fever, uneasiness are queuing up at hospitals. Seeing the excruciating heat, doctors are advising people to consume lot of water and to exercise restraint in eating market items. During afternoon, heat becomes unbearable and people try not to go outside as much as possible. Henceforth, deserted like scene’s are witnessed on roads. Pedestrian tries to find time being solace from blazing sun by standing beneath trees or prefer to do rest for a while in parks. Over all, weather conditions are dry and maximum temperature is hovering above 40 degrees Celsius at maximum places of state.
