Two kids killed, 3 injured in ghastly road mishap

Two minor boys were killed in a road mishap when an uncontrolled Scorpio vehicle over turned near Zora on Thursday morning and the victims were crushed under it.
As per information received from Telibandha police, the incident took place at about 7 am in front of Indira Gandhi Agriculture University (IGAU) gate.

Rear left tyre of the vehicle (CG04-DM/1198) burst when it was on move with a good speed, after which the driver lost control over the vehicle. As the vehicle tuned turtle, the two school boys came under the vehicle while returning from school.

Five persons including bride and groom were returning from a marriage function in the vehicle. The boys were identified as Sagar Banjare (12) and Tushar Banjare (10), sons of Amar Bagh Banjare, a resident of Chheri Kheri. Three persons including bride Saubhagini, brother of groom Santosh Chhatri and aunty of the groom, who were travelling in the vehicle, were injured. The injured persons were rushed to Dr B R Ambedkar Hospital for treatment. The vehicle was seized by Telibandha police. Police filed FIR against the driver under Section 304A of IPC and were further investigating. The bodies of the two boys were handed over to their family members after post-mortem.
