FSSAI recognised lab finds Plasto tanks safe for drinking

MINISTRY of Chemicals and Fertilizers and Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, Aurangabad under the Government of India, has found that Plasto tanks are able to secure the drinking water and provided the elemental certificate to the company R C Plasto Tanks and Pipes Private Limited.

It is remarkable that Plasto is selling its high quality products in the market since 1986. 32 years ago this small plant was planted and now it has taken the form of a huge tree. This year the company has set a unique record. The factory of Plasto at MIDC Hingna, Nagpur has become the largest water tank supplying unit in the world. It is also remarkable that this unit produces more than five crore litres of tanks every month. R C Plasto makes six different types of tanks of different capacities. Plasto’s gold tank is India’s first four layer tank. Soon, Plasto will provide its customers with new tanks having more layers in attractive designs.

Apart from tanks, Plasto also has a wide range of all types of pipes and fittings. CPVC, UPVC, agriculture, SWR, garden, casing, column, sprinkler, HDPE pipes and fittings are major among them. Apart from this, Plasto also produces PVC, CPVC and UPVC solvents. Every product of Plasto is at highest level of quality. To manufacture these products, raw material is taken from the most trusted companies in the country like Indian Oil Corporation, Reliance, Haldiya Petro, GAIL etc.
