Tributes paid to Naxal attack martyrs

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday paid tributes to 25 CRPF troopers, who were killed in a deadly Maoist ambush in Sukma district on Monday. Rich floral tributes were also paid to the CRPF troopers by Governor Balramji Das Tandon, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj Singh Ahir, Agriculture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, Revenue Minister Prem Prakash Pandey, Health and Panchayat Minister Ajay Chandrakar, PWD Minister Rajesh Munat, Food Minister Punnulal Mohle, Women and Child Welfare Minister Ramsheela Sahu, Tribal Development Minister Kedar Kashyap, Tourism Minister Dayaldas Baghel, former Assembly Speaker Dharamlal Kaushik, Chief Secretary Vivek Dhand, Senior Security Adviser in Union Ministry of Home Affairs K Vijay Kumar, senior CRPF officials as well as senior administrative and police officials.
The 25 CRPF troopers were killed while fighting a valiant battle against the Left-Wing Extremists near Burkapal in Chintagufha under Dornapal in Sukma district. Soon after arriving at Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur at around 10.30 am, the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh directly headed to the headquarters of the 4th Battalion of Chhattisgarh Armed Force in Mana camp area where the wreath- laying ceremony was held.
