15 persons of 2 marriage parties killed in separate road mishaps in MP

FIFTEEN people, including a groom, were killed and 22 injured, in two separate road accidents, both involving wedding parties, in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.
In the first accident, which took place on the Agra-Mumbai National Highway in Khargone district on Tuesday morning, nine members of a family, including the groom, were killed when a container-truck hit their car, an official said. Two persons were injured in the incident. They have been taken to Indore for treatment, the official said.
The container-truck hit the car at the Ganpati ghat section of the highway in Khargone. Eight persons died on the spot while one succumbed to his injuries later, Dharampuri’s Tehsildar R S Guha said. The groom, Mukesh Jaat (30), was among those who died.
In another mishap near Karahal tehsil of Sheopur district, 6 members of a marriage party were killed and 20 others injured when a tractor-trolley, on which they were travelling, overturned. The victims were returning after a wedding ceremony when the trolley got overturned.
