Congmen meet Collector over non-payment of employees

President of State Congress Committee, Bhupesh Baghel and other congress leaders visited District Collectorate on Tuesday noon and discussed about non-payment of employees of Balaji Industries with District Collector.

They informed her that over the last couple of months, over 1,000 employees of Balaji Industries as well as its associates do not get their salaries and because of it they face huge hardship. Apart from it Balaji Industries also planned to cut jobs of so many employees.

During interaction with District Collector, Bhupesh Baghel as well as other congressmen of the state that Balaji Industries fired over 300 employees and also did not release payment of employees for over 5 months.

Because of it poor employees and their family members faced lots of hardships and suffering lots of difficulties owing to it.
Similarly all of congressmen also informed District Collector about acts of police force over congressmen when they tried to oppose State Minister of Higher and Technical Education
regarding malpractice in higher education. During this act, police force not only misbehaved with congress leaders, but also lodged FIR against them under various acts of IPC.
They have also informed about the malpractice of alcohol sales as well as other things.

After hearing their views, District Collector R Shageetha assured to take action against police force for misbehaving with leaders of congress committee.

On this occasion, TD Sahu, Member of Parliament of Durg Lok Sabha; Devendra Yadav, Mayor of Bhilainagar Municipal Corporation; Pratima Chandrakar, former MLA of Durg-Rural and other congress leaders were also present.
