Continue with work started by Dr Hardikar: Pande to volunteers

Dr N S Hardikar formed an organisation of youths’ in 1923 to strengthen the fredom struggle. The organisation - Congress Sevadal, helped in getting trained youth force to the party.
However, the organisation later remained neglected, the results of which are apparent now, National Co-ordinator of Sevadal Krishnakumar Pande said. He also appealed to the volunteers to continue with the work started by Dr Hardikar.


Pande was addressing the Sevadal workers, to mark birth anniversary of Dr Hardikar, at Devadia Congress Bhavan, here. City Unit Chief Ramgovind Khobragade presided over. Regional Unit President Sulabha Nagpurkar, Smita Kumbhare, Anjali Khobragade, Ratnamala Phopre were the guests of honour on the occasion.


Tributes were paid to Dr Hardikar, former Co-ordinator of women’s wing Manorama Mahajan and Asha Pashine.
Baban Durugkar conducted the proceedings of the programme. Devesh Gaidhane proposed a vote of thanks.


Kalpana Bangre, Subhash Sadhankar, Narmada Dahake, Govinda urkude, Suman Mate, Arun Anasane, Nisha Meshram, Namdev Ladikar, Asha Khode, Manoj Walke, Tara Mendule, Prakash Kute, Sunita Urkude, Wasudev Wakodikar, Jagdish Fulbandhe and many others worked hard for success of
the programme.
