‘Behaviour of police personnel leaves great impact on society’

Police personnel work under stress, but should not fall prey to any kind of addiction. Their behaviour leaves great impact on the society, said Dattatray Rathod, Superintendent of Railway Police Force. Rathod was speaking during a workshop for police personnel, organised by Satyanarayan Nuwal Gurukul De-addiction Centre. Director of the Centre Dr Sharmishtha Gupta and Dr Shivraj Deshmukh, DySP M G Inamdar were present.

Dr Gupta spoke about beginning of addiction out of curiosity or in a friend circle. It becomes a habit gradually and giving it up becomes a major problem. The family members and the society of an addict had to face the difficulties. The Centres like Nuwal Gurukul help in counselling through experts. She also gave information about various health problems faced due to addictions.

Inamdar shared his experiences and appealed to the participants to remain away from any kind of addiction.Ruth Yangad conducted the proceedings of the event.
