CS, DGP reach city, take stock of preparations for Prime Minister’s visit

Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh, B P Singh and Director General of Police, Rishi Kumar Shukla were welcomed at Dumna Airport, on Thursday.

The senior officers were received by Divisional Commissioner, Gulshan Bamra, Additional Director General of Police (Jabalpur Zone), D Sreenivasa Rao, DIG, Bhagwat Singh Chouhan, Collector, Mahesh Chandra Choudhary, Superintendent of Police, Dr Mahendra Singh Sikarwar.

During their short visit, Chief Secretary and DGP sought information about preparations being carried out for proposed visit of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on May 15 and gave necessary directions for avoiding any kind of irregularity. Officers detailed about the preparations and security arrangements for the visit of Prime Minister.

On the occasion, Additional Collector, Chhotey Singh and Additional SP, Guru Prasad Parashar were present. Thereafter, senior officers left for Bhopal by helicopter.
