Light showers with thunder activity likely to occur in isolated parts

On Saturday maximum temperature recorded was 41.9 degree Celsius in Bhopal which was one degree above the normal temperature. The minimum temperature recorded for the day was coming to 28.2 (+2) degree Celsius. In next 24 hours Bhopal city is likely to witness cloudy sky with light rains during afternoon hours. Average wind speed recorded will be around 14-16 kmph during day time and 6-8 kmph during night time .
As per Weather Department there are chances of dust storm and thunder activity light rain at isolated places over Chambal, Gwalior, Sagar, Rewa and Bhopal divisions. Light rains are also expected in Umariya, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Narsinghpur, Balaghat and Mandla districts. There are likely chance of dust storms at isolated places all over the State.
When it comes to maximum temperatures no major variations is expected in like Bhopal, Jabalpur, Hoshangabad divisions band Indore division. Heat waves is likely to be witnessed at Chambal, Tikamgarh, Rewa and Satna also witnessed day temperature range above
40 degree Celsius.
Meanwhile, temperatures among the four main cities- Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur ranged between 42.7 and 23.5 degrees Celsius. Indore recorded a minimum of 23.5(-2) degrees celsius and maximum at 41.4 degrees Celsius.
Minimum temperature at Gwalior was recorded at 27.4 (+2) degrees Celsius while maximum remained at 42.7(+1) degrees Celsius. In Jabalpur, minimum and maximum temperatures were respectively recorded at 28.4(+1) and 42.2 (+1)degrees Celsius. Khajuraho was
recorded at 26.5 (+2) degree Celcius and maximum at 44 (+2) degree Celcius.
