MBBS student who performs complicated delivery of woman on-board train feted

Dr Vipin Khadse, a 24-year-old final year MBBS student who helped a woman give birth to a baby boy on-board the Ahmedabad-Puri Express with instructions from his seniors through WhatsApp, was felicitated by Kala Manch at Snehanchal in Indira Nagar.

Vipin Khadse, who is in his final stage of MBBS training (and is not a qualified doctor yet) at the Nagpur-based Government Medical College and Hospital, performed a complicated
delivery when 24-year old Chitralekha went into labour on the train recently.

Dr Vedprakash Mishra, IMA President, Dr Vaishali Khandait, IMA Secretary, Dr Prashant Rathi, Kala Manch Patron, Dr G B Mundhada and convenor Narendra Satija shared dais.
Dr Renu Bali, C P Burde, Dr Ashish Modi and Dr Jitesh Khandwani welcomed the guests. Flute player Sudhir Kate, writer Dr Rajendra Prasad Singh, Sanjay Barve, Santosh Budhraja, Krutansha Arora from Bilaspur, Pramila and Dr Ghanshyam Mundhada were also felicitated during the programme.

Dr Meena Mishra made introductory remarks. Narendra Satija conducted the proceedings of the programme and Anil Malokar proposed a vote of thanks.
Shrichand Chawala, Dr Ashish Modi, Naresh Miglani, Dr Anisha and Dr Naresh Agrawal, Lucky Hardwani, Vilas Vaitage,
