FOREST Department team succeeded in nabbing two persons who allegedly hunted a wild boar and were likely to consume the flesh. Eight other accused are absconding.

The team received a tip-off that a group of 10 people had hunted a wild boar and was likely to consume the flesh.
Acting upon the tip-off, a Forest department team hurried towards the spot and succeeded in nabbing two among the accused, while eight others escaped the scene, taking advantage of the dense forest.

The team also recovered 15 kg of flesh from the held accused, who have been identified as Bune Uraon, son of Shani Uraon and Lalsai, son of Mangalsai, both residents of village Barjharia.
The seized meat has been destroyed. A manhunt has also been launched to nab the absconding accused.
