With huge turnout, 10-day Amrit Mahotsav concludes

The 10-day ‘Amrit Mahostav’ a business, industry and self-employment exhibition-cum-fair witnessing huge turnout of visitors belonging to different sections of society concluded on Sunday. The fair is being organised to mark the 80th Anniversary of Mahakoshal Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Gole Bazar.


MCCI Co Spokesperson, Akhil Mishra informed that in the ongoing Amrit Mahotsava event the MCCI have invited various women self help groups for participation to encourage self employment amongst women. The stall put-up by different self help groups. In this stalls of jute items and cotton thread items evoked tremendous response from visitors. Besides this stalls of ladies bag, handmade ladies suit put up by manufacturers gathered good sales.


Chief guest of the concluding ceremony of the program was former MLA, Lakhan Ghanghoria. Appreciating the business event organised by the MCCI on its 80th Anniversary as Amrit Mahotsava, Ghanghoria said it would prove to be a milestone in the development of Jabalpur. He said such events should be organised in regular intervals giving exposure of business and industrial potential in the region to the budding entrepreneurs as well as for the local industry.

Special guest on the occasion Shivsena, State President, Thaneshwar Mahawar appreciated the ongoing Fair and said the event would prove a support for budding entrepreneurs and upcoming prospects for the industry. MCCI President, Ravi Gupta opined that the ten days fair has been organised with objective of encouraging educated youths towards entrepreneurship and to stop the youths in city by the way of self employment. He assured that continuing the work to highlight issues related to the industry and business the Chamber would continue to organise such mega events in coming years too.


In cultural evening organised at cultural stage of the MCCI Fair, the musical night in memory of legendary singer Kishore Kumar was presented by Prassan Shrivastava and Party. The melodious performances gathered appreciation from gathering. Eminent amongst those who were present includes Shantibhai Patel, Hemraj Agrawal, Yuvraj Jain Garhawal, Akhil Mishra, Anoop Agrawal, Shankar Nagdeo, Anil Jain Pali, Sameer Pal, Subodh Jain, Bhaskar Mishra, Subodh Camrade were present.
