Chouhan receives PM Modi at Dumna airport

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded with warm welcome by Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the Dumna Airport during a short stay before leaving for Amarkantak, on Monday.

It may be mentioned that to attend the massive programme organised to attend to mark the concluding ceremony of Namami Devi Narmade Narmada Sewa Yatra campaign in Amarkantak, Prime Minister Modi arrived at the Dumna Airport at 12.25 pm by special airplane of Indian Air Force. He was accompanied by Union Panchayat and Rural Development Minister, Narendra Singh Tomar.

On arrival of the two leaders at Dumna airport, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi by presenting flower bouquets. As per scheduled time the Prime Minister Narendra Modi accompanied by Union Minister, Narendra Singh Tomar, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has left for Amarkantak by Chopper Helicopter at 12.30 pm.

Eminent public representatives, BJP leaders and officials who were present at Dumna Airport to welcome Prime Minister includes Minister of State for Medical Education, Sharad Jain, Member of Parliament, Rakesh Singh, Mayor Dr Swati Sadanand Godbole, former Member of Parliament, Jaishree Banerji, Chief Secretary, BP Sigh, Director General of Police, Rishi Kumar Shukla, Additional Director General of Police, D. Shrinivasa Rao, Commissioner, Jabalpur Division, Gulshan Bamra, Collector, Mahesh Chandra Choudhary, Superintendent of Police, Dr M S Sikarwar were present.
