Artistic props to be installed at ‘Maitri Bagh’ to attract visitors

‘Maitri Bagh’ is going to introduce a innovative way of attracting visitors by installing artistic props where one can click photographs and take selfie in different costumes with their families and friends.

A small park next to ‘Shankar Lawn’ will be developed for this purpose where this facility will be provided to the visitors. Cutouts comprising of traditional costumes of different states will be installed here where one can take a selfie also innovative sculptures will be installed in the area. The unity in diversity of the populace of steel city from Bhilai will be depicted through this innovative cultures and cutouts.

The Horticulture Department of BSP has prepared a project and has started working on it. The process of preparing cutouts with empty faces and other innovative sculptures are under construction that will be installed in the area.

This project will come up with the internal resources of the plant. Artists working in BSP are helping the horticulture department to complete the work. Cutouts of Chhattisgarhi, Rajasthani, Kashmari, Punjabi, Assamee, Marathi, Gujarati, Bihari, South Indian and others state attire will be installed where one can click photographs.

DGM (Horticulture), Dr G K Dubey while talking to ‘The Hitavada’ informed that the area next to Shankar Lawn will be developed as a small park where kids and visitors can click photographs and selfie standing behind the cutouts. The
structure construction work has commenced but to much has to be done before the projects get completed.
