Berasia police solve blind murder case

Berasia police, on Tuesday, claimed to have solved the blind murder case of a 20-year-old youth, whose mutilated body was found at roadside near Barkheda Yakub and Bavachia village on May 11; deceased’s three friends, who were involved in killing, were arrested. Main accused was enraged over deceased’s love towards his sister.
SP (North) Arvind Saxena, while talking to mediapersons said, the arrested accused were identified as Jitendra Ahirwar (22) of Nishatpura, Chatrapal Ahirwar (19) and Ravi Ahirwar (18), both of Chhola Mandir area, who killed Golu Lodhi (20) of Sanchi. The deceased used to work as construction labourer and was heavily addicted to liquor. Chatrapal and Ravi work with catering services, while Jitendra works as construction labourer.
During the investigation, friends and family members were questioned, but nothing concrete was found and later, in the investigation, it was found that on May 10, deceased hired Mukesh Lodhi’s auto-rickshaw but never returned and in the further investigation it was found that the deceased was spotted for the last time at Bhanpur Square with three persons and one of them was identified as Jitendra Ahirwar.
Based on the information, Jitendra was searched and when he was quizzed, he confessed to killing Golu along with Chatrapal Ahirwar and Ravi Ahirwar.
It was found the Chatrapal was the main accused, who planned the murder as he was infuriated over the deceased, who used to tell him that he loves Chatrapal’s sister. They took the deceased and had liquor with him at the spot and then, Chatrapal hit stone in his head due to which the deceased fell after which Jitendra took hold of the deceased and Chatrapal smashed his head with stone and the three left the spot with the auto-rickshaw and parked the auto-rickshaw at Housing Board Colony and escaped.
