CM writes Cabinet colleagues to submit feedback on LSA

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has written to all his Cabinet colleagues to submit their respective feedback from the ongoing Lok Suraaj Abhiyaan. He has written to all Ministers in
these directions.

The ongoing Lok Suraaaj Abhiyan will continue till May 20. The Chief Minister himself has covered a distance of approximately 6000 kms while touring almost all 27 districts in the state. Since April 3 to till date, the Chief Minister has covered Dhamtari twice, Bastar, Sukma, Bijapur, Bilaspur, Korba, Koriya twice, Balrampur-Ramanujganj, Surajpur twice, Surguja, Mahasamund twice, Balod, Kanker twice, Rajnandgaon, Kondagaon twice, Durg, Jashpur, Mungeli, Raigarh, Balodabazaar-Bhatapara, Kawardha, Bemetara, Dantewada, Narainpur, Janjgir-Champa, Raipur and Gariaband districts.

During his visits to these districts, the Chief Minister had directly landed in 15 villages scattered throughout the state and interacted directly with villagers and panchayat-level officials. During the course of his Lok Suraaj Abhiyaan tour, the Chief Minister has chaired 17 Samadhan Shivir (redressal camps) and 16 review meetings.

During his visits to these districts, he has even removed Collectors, Zila Panchayat CEOs and other officials after finding negligence and dereliction in duty. He has even given service extension on contractual basis to one
Janpad Panchayat CEO, who was due to retire 8 months from now, for his exemplary works.

Similarly, all Ministers were also instructed to carry out interaction with the local people, attend redressal camps and chair review meetings in the respective district under their charge. Almost all Ministers have conducted tours in their respective districts and meeting people. In his letter to all his Ministers, the Chief Minister has asked to give feedback regarding the places of their visit and what were the reactions of people regarding the work of government. He also asked about the progress of implementation of government schemes particularly the welfare schemes being run by central government. It is being stated that the Chief Minister will be discussing these issues also during Cabinet Meeting scheduled on May 23.
