Mega children’s collection opens at Swami Vivekanand Library

Exclusive collection of 50 animated children movies will be included in Mega children collection at Vivekanand library .This special section has been incorporated to commemorate 52 years of its working in city. It was established in 1965. This series have been givens special name as mega children collection .

The books in display can be read by young members till May 20 and after that books can also be issued to the membership holder.The Swami Vivekanand Library is an initiative to provide a state of the art Library and Resource center. The Library has been established with an objective to carry on the work of the erstwhile British Library in Bhopal .

The basic aim of the Swami Vivekand Library will be to impart information on Education (Foreign and Indian) and to maintain a library (English) with international standards. It will also be responsible for holding seminars, workshops, Training Programs of various national and international Exams, Education and Information resources.

The main objectives includes to provide a state of the art library to the people of Bhopal and MP, which would cater not only to the needs of the elite but also to the general public, the young audiences and kids by providing world class infrastructure, books, DVDs, journals, newspapers etc.Many workshops and seminars are also being organized from time to time for students to appear in various national and international competitive exams for value additions in their careers. However this exclusive section has been opened to increase reading habit among children which has become necessity in contemporary society of internet and net education.
