Shramdaan done to excavate, beautify Narsingh pond

With an aim to excavate and beautify of Narsingh pond, Shramdaan is being carrying out various groups and voluntary organisations. In this series, Collector, Dr R R Bhosle along with senior officers, employees, social and voluntary workers participated in Shramdaan of Narsingh pond here on Monday.
Shramdaan begins at 6 am and continued for two hours.

The Collector was accompanied with Divisional Forest Officer, N K Sanodia, Upper Collector, J Sameer Lakra, SDM, G S Dhurve, Executive Engineer Rural Services, G S Khateek, J K Rao of Public Health Engineering and N K Khandelwal of PWD, District Co-ordinator of Swachchha Bharat Mission, Rajesh Tiwari, team of Forest Department and aware citizens.

After Shramdaan, Collector Bhoslem in his address, said that Narsingh Pond is heritage of Narsinghpur. It is our moral duty to have its conservation.

Efforts would be made to stop pollution in pond. Pond would be develop so that people would come here for morning and evening walk. In the surrouding Pavar block would be installed to make track. A fountain would be installed in pond. Along with this lightening and boat arrangement would be made. The excavation of pond should be completed before rainy season. He said that Shramdaan is a symbolic effort to associate people with feelings with pond.

After this work would be executed through JCB machine and dumpers. He said that their aim is to associate each person as partner in conservation of water resources. To ensure this arrangements, this shramdaan is being organised here.
