Govinda praises CM Chouhan for organising ‘Narmada Yatra’

Cine Star Govinda accompanied by an artist from Germany Suzain Bernard arrived by Overnight Express train from Bhopal to Jabalpur railway station

‘Namami Devi Narmade - Narmada Sewa Yatra’ is a very special and noble work initiated by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the conservation of river and preservation of bio-diversity on its banks. The Narmada Sewa Yatra has become the biggest drive to conserve the river and is a very important programme in view of protecting the natural water resources", said cine star Govinda during his short stay in the city before leaving for Dindori to attend the Narmada Sewa Yatra programme, on Monday. He was accompanied by an artist from Germany Suzzane Bernard.


He said that he is fortunate to become part of the world's biggest drive to conserve a river and its bio-diversity. He said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken up a great task and sure, with the blessings of Goddess Narmada, this drive would surely meet its objective.


It may be mentioned that cine star Govinda arrived by Overnight Express train from Bhopal to Jabalpur. To accord rousing welcome to the cine artist, his fans assembled in large numbers on Platform number 6. Following the crowd of fans at the railway station, the police escorted him and took him out from the station amongst fans. He then left for Hotel Vijan Mahal, where he stayed for a short rest and then left for Dindori to attend the Namami Devi Narmade Narmada Sewa Yatra programme.
